Gaming

My boys are gamers and I think I'm partly the fault?? Bwahahhahahahahaha...

Lets see how did mine began? Well it started when I laid my hands on my cousin's Apple. What did I play?? Hmmm... Owh Karateka teet teet teet teeeeet teet!! Bwahahahahahaha... Saving that Damsel in distress from that faggot big headed bossman that keeps asking his boys to wipe you out & if you ran and not be in your kata stance all the chap had to do was one hit and you'll have to start over. Then after enjoying that & a few more down the road with not forgetting the original Tron my Dad invested and regretted buying that IBM 286 where all we did on it was Digger, Olympic, Drive simulation and so on and on, on that floppy big disc that had write protected if you stick that easy-to-tore-off-in-your-floppy-drive!! Well its parts did served me a few years later down the road. But with all the late nites playing games it wasn't real true gaming until I had my hands on this game "Phantasmargoria" or something like that. It happened one night when I was left alone while my cousins went for a football match. The only breaks I took was toilets & water refills and finished the whole 7 or 9 discs even way before they got back after the match. All were suprised as they bought the game for months and I finished it in a night!!

Way later Dad bought a PC again with hatred but this time he didn't knew the devil in me was about to be unleashed. So it began with my first ever BOXED game... Tomb Raider. Lara teamed up with me for a few months then came War Craft, Star Craft, Diablo and so and so that gaming got me glued on the chair for hours without food or sex!! Bwahahahahaahahaha... There was a time that my girlfriend (whom I got married to her) asked me to choose Diablo or her?? Bwahahahahahahahahaha... Well I guess you know who I chose!! Bwahahahahahahaha... The days...

Now comes my 1st born... Adam. This one I started him with my old trustee still able to boot while I'm writing this AMD K62 with Windows 98 running on it. And his game was Need for speed porsche release and that time he was still counting his age. But he was a fast learner that he was able to switch the PC, put in the CD, start the game, configure the necessary, choose the track & play. Yes at his very young age!! Till one day we had to buy a PC for him and he's using it till now. Being a Rain, just like the father we didn't really like to play on people's property. Why?? It just doesn't feel right. So with everyone around him having PSP, I managed to sell part of my soul for him to get one. While others went to shops to purchase their games; my boys just picked it off from the net with Daddy's download addiction. Nowdays he is into all gaming consoles that I had to limit from PS3 to Wii as I believe with Wii not only do they play, they sweat!! Bwahahahahahaha...

Now comes the younger brother... Danial. Now this one captures everything his brother does that I don't even remember if I've even thought him!! Bwahahahahahaahahaha... But unlike the brother, he gets bored fast & keeps asking for new games every about 8 days!! Bwahahahahahaha...

Back To Reality

Now that's a number that would be quite hard for me to peel off my mind for a while. Its was my room number when I was warded due to back pain. I however, am skeptical over the doctor's explanation over what actually happened to me. According to him, 3 discs were torn and 1 was dried so that was what he said. However, should I have that, how-the-come could I still manage to walk normally and recovered so fast?? He didn't even made any physio appointment for future relief?? Hmmmm... This was certainly something need to be looked at. So everyone, becareful and not to meet up Dr. Muthu from Sime Darby Medical Center.

The nurses from trainees to staff nurse however were GREAT!! They took care of me and listened to my advise. Though sometimes their services could be improved (slow), but they still meet up. Some of them though was scarry with their eye brows intacted from right to left!! Bwahahahahahaha... None were errr the wow factor but all gave good service... The proper ones. I gave one of the practical students a how to properly measure the blood pressure & instead of ignoring me, she went on my advise and kept to her heart of shock!! She really wondered how this IT chap knew how to properly take a blood pressure count... Well that's some tale I may tell some day.

Heading to the discharge counter, they were very efficient. Did everything as fast as possible as perfect as possible. Though waiting for the deposit was a bitch due to the insurance the girl told me to head home and she'll call back and yes she did. But late lah. My renovating house needed a visit.

The first thing out of hospital was the quest to find good food. My wife who was craving for fish ended our cravings at the Manhattan Fish Shop. Devouring that salmon like I have not had it for years showed how I had the no appetite of hospital food!! Bwahahahahahaha...

The quest of renovating the house held a never ending stories these days. Wirings, paint, wall paper, tiles, flooring and the list keeps going on. That photo I sniped was my wife duplicating our keys nearby the neighbourhood. A progress was seen at our toilets and wife (who was the designated interior designer) was more than happy, overjoyed and rolling into it!! Well happy we were but there was still a lot more to be done.

Last Nite

So what do you on the last nite with yourself in the hospital room?? Yeah, its my last nite and hoping that there will be no repeats in coming here either. I watched movies I could get the chance to watch due to my busy chores of work and life. I watched my plenty of left-back episodes of my second favourite anime - Bleach. I get to pickup on my sleep which I lack. But mostly, I get to be one with myself, searching for myself and learning to be strong again.

At times when your havoc life goes to the top, you'll need to find that quiet place in your mind to loose everything to make path for greater things to come. God has HIS ways of showing and it took me years to see. Its not a matter state of meditation, its higher. It is where you find back your strength when you were in your youth where you had the best of words, the gain of wisdom and now all you need is just a clear mind to bring them back. God is always there. Believe in him and never for once not thanking him of all the HE has done to make you stronger. Only by his will can you make it further. Your love, your child, your madness, your wealth are just mere morale support but you faith is the true strength

Being in a stage of madness sure do scar the mind. But sometimes in madness you'll find freedom in emptying your mind to look back and leap further. Now taking one step at a time, I will make time. Yes... My true failure... Time...

"Ya ALLAH, I thank for all the things you had given me, showed me and thought me. Ya ALLAH, I beg for your help, for your kindness so I would not have to return as I was before. Ya ALLAH, I need not to be the best. I need only the best for my mother, wife and child to have the best of what I can deliver."

Amin.

After The Burn

Just got out from physio theraphy & right now what else, smoking time.

Since hospital do not allow smoking, I walked my way towards the front gate everytime after a theraphy session ends.

Something I find interesting though, everytime I go out for a smoke (not right now though), I tend to meet up with new friends - all smokers!! Though majority I didn't get their names but I enjoyed their company. People tend to talk easily when you're a smoker like them. We shared ideas and such but nowdays I tend to talk less and listen more. Its either I grew out or I'm more of a listener these days only HE knows best.

Can't wait for my wife & boys to reach me though.

Physio

Getting physio theraphy from this cute girl. Very chirpful lah her... Bwahahahahahahaha. Anyways, right now I'm getting my skin burned from that UV/IR light but its suppose to do me good. So before I fall off to sleep, I had to do something and sure enough, I had to find a blog updater made for my phone.

Well enough ranting... Just needed to test it out.

The Return

Yes its been long... Yes its been a while...
Well these goes to my blog, having a job and mostly my camera!! Why??!! Coz with this new place I am in right now, I'm the only and only IT dude around!! YES no backup, no colleagues. Which makes running around is a norm for me.

So what has been long overdue comes to here - the iPhone 4. Everything that surrounds me these days has "i" in it. Even the new car we're driving has i-VTEC in its engine bay!! Bwahahahahahahaha...
Though at first I didn't want the phone but due to circumstances that... I could not do a video call with my wife coz she was going for surgery.
Eh, that shouldn't be a problem right?! Well after I've learned (then) from friends that video calls were impossible with non iPhone users, I had to make the plunge.
YES IT WAS ALL DUE TO VIDEO CALL!!

I'm no tech gadget chap but unfortunate for any gadgets to have landed on my hands. I've never left anything as-is when it comes to gadgets. So the day we bought the phone (and I've yet to land my hands on it) I got it jailbroken with Cydia and Installous on board. Even though I was on the new 4.3.1 OS (at that point of time) I knew that greenp0ison was yet to give a stable jailbreak, I took my chances with the shop. It took them nearly 2 hours to make it happen!! - I just couldn't find the time to do it as while they were busy jailbreaking, we did our house reno shopping (well that's another tale) Bwahahahahahahaha... Though it wasn't 100% broken (as the skull icon did not appear on the startup) it still did its job. Less than just a week, there were tonnes of apps & tools installed for ehem "free"!!
And my wife who had hers a month before me, also took the jump in jailbreaking even though her freinds kept telling her NO. Well, having an addicted-to-download husband, that ain't a suprise.

Upon getting my phone unlike others, I didn't want to make a call. Instead, I tried this Face Time thingy. But down to my dissappointment it only works if you're on a wifi connection - what crap & bull & cock story. Then I tried MMS to no avail but that was due to telco that needed to update my phone - owh ok. So what's next?? Owh what about the phone running as a modem as my 5800 would?? Again??!!... Arghhh... That's it!! I had to now do something!! This was all bullsh*t!!! What kind of high tech phone wouldn't give such things?? No wonder there was the wonders jailbreak!!

Time to get bee-zay!! So first up... Video call on 3G. Yeah found it, called Tango. Installed on both wife's and mine... Failed. But I knew one thing wouldn't though... Fring. Got it up and running and in no time we're talking - a known SUCCESS but was still skeptical about video calls over 3G!! So just relax the mind and installed all my network/computing needs like WiFoFum, RDP, LogMeIn. What's all those?? - well they're just tools that aid me in my work. With this I knew I would be installing games and made full use with the gyro thingy that my 5800 somehow had it but lacking it. Then it came...
- Themes,
- Sound amplification - which I'm rather not sure it 100% working,
- SSH client & iPhone exploration
- Personal ringtones
- Personal sms ringtones
- Additional photo library
And the list just keeps on going till... then I came back to this Facetime. I knew it would work, I just needed to know how. And where else in this digital world would you find for answers other than asking Mr. Google?? He will give you all sorts of answers, you only need to know which one to pick as the best. And I found it!! And with it Tango worked even charmly. And sometimes when other internet related app couldn't reach, it will do it the other way. What is it?? Its called My3G. It ain't free but it still requires you to jailbreak!! So you tell me, sit on standard and miss the phun or get the benefits of what your phone was made for?? Bwahahahahahhaha... And by the time she was in the hospital for surgery, her boys would be talking to her on video before they go to bed. But the video call on Tango was having issues due to the 3G strength and the stormy weather so we had to switch to Fring. Still everything worked its charm that out of 16Gb of space, I'm now down to 3Gb... Bwahahahahahahahaaha so its time to release that throttle from accelerating and just have fun with was is in it.

After all these years, I couldn't believe myself would be running on a Linux based phone and having fun with it. Its just a matter of time before I go in further, but for now I'll just let myself rest at 3rd gear at peace as I pulled it all to the red line each every gear!

Lazy

This b*tch was so lazy that everyone pointed to her ar*e
Sniper shot @ Genting

Been lazy... DAMN lazy... WHAT??!! That sounds normal ah?? Well this one was a little abnormal, well for me that is. I've been so lazy in booting up my computer. Bwahahahahahahaha... all the past few weeks I've been on facebook and email was directly on my mobile phone.

I was so lazy that I didn't realize that I'm only having 2GB of free hardisk space!! (Really critical lah) I don't know why but I was and am still really really lazy to look at the computer, to start it up bla bla bla; yada yada yada... so da many reasons that refrained me - there was once I brought it out of its chamber to its docking station and just left it there.

Now days I'm just having fun offline on my son's PC playing games as if it was some play station. I'm still wondering why because there was a time in my life that I could not live 1 day without the internet... perhaps mobile phone has taken over that job as I can go on the net as when and where as long as the battery life is there?? Bwahahahahahahahaha...

So what happened to me past few months?? Well...

After these photo were taken my son was lifted to another classroom. No photos were edited. All off my old trustee hybrid cam.

2. I was kidnapped to Singapore by a group of friends in search of M A R I N A...

Mug shot of myself
(more of these to be posted later or visit my FlickR)

3. Then, our family had a full day of fun at Genting Highlands...

Went with cable car; came back with cable car... and I got this scary shot

NOTE: All photos of this Genting trip (except the 1st and last) were not edited and AS IS off camera.

4. I fell sick for about 2 weeks with asthma, cough, flu and off/on fever.

5. Wife rescued a male which now is becoming my Mimi's boyfriend - he's trying hard, she's playing hard to get.

That's Mimi... about now
That's Mimi... with her Mommy!!

We found this guy and named him Jesper. He was so dirty, so big gun, jumped 8 feet up when being washed but Mimi was just too afraid of him. I think his musk was too strong la and he don't look like a cat that can be easily brought down. He felt missing something, opened the cage and left the cage door opened with food and water but he never returned.

Then came this chap... wife saw him on a friend's FB tagged. Messaged the person and met the vet that was keeping him for 7 months after he was left by his owner. 3 year old and owner left him coz he was purging... well he was all ok here. His initial name from previous owner was AhBoy and when my wife saw him she called him Greg, then when he returned home he was named Lion-O (in conjunction with the Thundercats), the next day after he was playing with me he is now known as Chewie (short for Chewbacca) as he looked like a walking carpet (as what Princess Leia said in Empire Strikes Back) - my Danial (who says its his cat but is still afraid to carry him) shouted at me protesting for the name to be shortened.
Hence... this is Chewie. A 3 year old persian having way a lot of hair and very gentle and like to be rubbed and eventually he will lay on his back for a belly rub.
Chewie and Mimi are living in different cages at the moment due to that Mimi has never got close to a bloke before so smelling each other is a good activity.
Still couldn't see eye to eye
He will always be near her
 6. I have not smoked a cigarette for the past 5 days!! On about 1030 hours 15/02/2011 marked the last stick of cigarette I smoked. I now carry an empty box with a lighter to psycho myself and the wedding event I went after 3 days really challenged my will but I put it out by talking myself non stop to everyone sitting next to me. Bwahahahahahahahahahahaha...
