Running away from city havoc is a MUST!!...

Yup... living in the city too long is not good for health!! LOL. So one day and night I ran away into this small town in the highlands called Fraser's Hill. Located somewhere in Pahang near Selangor border and the best part is its just 1 hour drive up on a winding road (trust me it is - so please drive with not so empty stomach and if you're a winer then please give way to us!! - LOL)

This town has only 300 people living there and most weekends are filled with outsiders but they do give good good English food. Yes... I really mean good!! The town is so small, you can cover each angle in just half a day using your car but I was told that it is a heaven for bird lovers. Well if you go through my blog I'm no close to it. I'm all landscape - yeah!!

Lets talk about food... The hotel behind the clock tower (above photo) has great lamb for meat lovers and they cost less than RM20 and it is THA BOMB!! The English smoke house somewhere in town provides good lunch with the best spaghetti cabonara I've tasted around Malaysia and I admit!! Then tea time, the English smoke house provides filling scones that must be eaten without anything else!! However... how good the food is, they however could serve good coffee nor tea. Yucks!!

This town is really peaceful and quite and not too hot and not too cold either. Though later in the night, the cold will suddenly creep into your bones - so beware!! For couples who just want to get away in peace should visit this place for the weekend and get close to your partner. For family, its just time to wine down those heavy boots and go to sleep!!
